Jamaica me Crazy Radiant

Image
Jamaica me Crazy Radiant We are almost nearing the endddddddd! Only two more weeks left! But for this week, I picked a fun color that's also a little wild...It is Christmas shopping season...that makes me a little crazy... This Essie color is called Jamaica Me Crazy and it's a super fun color. Its Bright, Shiny, and a little Spunky. I have enjoyed wearing it! The first coat of this color seemed a bit streaky and watery, but after I put the second coat on, the polish evened itself out. Adding the top coat sealed the deal for a great look.  Like all Essie colors, Jamaica Me Crazy had a a moderate drying time. Pretty normal for this brand I'd say. It also had a pretty normal wear time. It lasted (with base and top coat) a bit over a weeks or so.  If you want to get your hands on a bottle of Jamaica Me Crazy  just check out your local super center, drugstores or your local Ulta store. Essie polishes can also be purchased online on sites like ...

Lavender Sugar Radiance

Image
Lavender Sugar Radiance It is my birthday week! AND I am finally getting all caught up on my blog posts! AND this color is AMAZING. Well, the color is great...but the polish's features are even better.  tea Beauty, which I can find absolutely no information about online, put out this line of scented polish. I didn't even know this polish was scented until I popped open the bottle!  While having great coverage with two coats, it also had a great, non overpowering scent. Although not long lasting, the scent was nice for the time that it did last.  This polish was also THE FASTEST DRYING POLISH I HAVE PUT ON THIS YEAR. Omg. For real. So fast. I want more.  I have been holding on to this polish for a while now and am so mad at myself for not trying it sooner! It proves even my brain has a slight stigma against drugstore brand polishes...shame on me! I got this polish from my local CVS, but you could try checking out your loca...

Bond with Whomever and Chelsea Enchantment Gardens Radiance

Image
Bond with Whomever and Chelsea Enchantment Gardens Radiance Hi Everyone!  Here is December 1-5 week's color of the week! WITH A TWIST.  This week's color is an Essie polish called Bond with Whomever  and for the holidays, I hope you and your friends and family have time to bond with one another again.  I love Essie polish and this one was another hit for me. It went on smooth and had great coverage with two coats of color.  It also dried moderately fast, which is always a plus for me! I for one loved this color on and would totally choose it again. HOWEVER...I was in the mood for just a little something extra... So, I grabbed my bottle of Nails Inc. Chelsea Embankment  and added some fun lace-like delicate glitter/embellishment to my nails. As you can see it almost looks a bit like snow! This floral embellishment polish is so fun and gave me the extra pizzazz I was looking for.It also dried quick!  If you w...

Radiant Butterfly Kisses

Image
Radiant Butterfly Kisses I don't know about you, but I love the Butterfly Kisses song just as much as I love the week of November 10th-14th nail polish.  This polish is a delicate pink shimmer polish by Loreal called Butterfly Kisses. I had never used a Loreal polish before this one and I have to say, it wasn't as bad an experience as I thought it would be. I was very pleasantly surprised! This polish was shared with me by a friend from work and it most definitely fits along with the theme of Radiant Orchid. It has that light feel to it that the Pantone color has.  I was at first worried that the color was a bit too watery; the first coat was pretttttty thin going on. But it evened itself out with the second coat and topcoat. After all the worrying, my nails looked great and the color was beautiful.     I must admit, I didnt have this polish on very long - only just a few days. However it did seem to have a little more wear around the e...

Merino Cool Radiance

Image
Merino Cool Radiance Hello friends! so sorry to be so darn behind in my posts! November has proven to be a very busy month that isnt very welcoming to my blogging needs.  The color of the week for the week of November 2nd - 8th is this amazing smokey purple put out by Essie. In general I love Essie products. They are good basic polish that is long lasting, as well as trendy.  Merino Cool, the color of this smoking shade went on pretty thin and watery for the first coat. I thought for an instant that I might be disappointed, but after the first coat dried and i added a little thicker second coat, the color look great!  As usual this Essie color dried quick and beautifully! I was also thoroughly pleased with its wear, it held up pretty good for not being a gel manicure!    If you are interested in getting a bottle of this Essie polish Merino Cool , check out your local Ulta store, drugstores, or super centers. And while you are at it - g...

Sink Your Teeth into this Polish

Image
Sink Your Teeth into this Polish It's almost Halloween and if you are still looking for a fun color to wear tomorrow, try one with a great title! You don't have to have fancy nails with little images painted all over them to have conversation piece nails. Sometimes just a fun color title works! This is my friend Kim's pedi job I did a while back, but the color and the title are perfect for the Halloween holiday. This deep purple will go with most dark costumes like witches, vampires, or zombies. But it could also go with fun lighter costumes like pumpkins, cats, or fairies.  And of course when your friends ask you about your nails, you get to tell them all about its fun title! For example, this polish is an OPI color called Want to Bite My Neck? How perfect is that for Halloween? This is a great dark purple color that dried quick and lasted a long time. Ya gotta love OPI :) You can purchase this color (hopefully) at your local OPI dealer or at your ...

BlackHeart Radiance

Image
BlackHeart Radiance Happy Halloween Week!! I have been waiting ALL YEAR to finally be able to post about this polish for Halloween. I literally got this polish back in December and am now able to finally share it with you! This is Spooktacular! BlackHeart Beauty is the brand for this week's color Magenta  and I thought it would be perfect for a Halloween post due to the great Skeleton skull shaped bottle its in! This color went on OK...it was very streaky on the first coat (which is also alright) but it made me worry that the second coat would look the same. It didn't! The second coat smoothed on out and gave my nails a nice finished look.  I was also pleasantly surprised at how fast this polish dried! The first coat dried almost as quick as my basecoat did. For those of you who have been keeping up with the blog, you know I love some fast drying nail polish! A++ on drying time! If you want to get some of this drop dead polish, head over to your ...

Radiant Days of Wine and Roses

Image
Radiant Days of Wine and Roses Hi Everyone! Happy October! Fall is my favorite time of year, the colors are so beautiful and the fashion choices are plentiful! This week's color fits great into the Fall season, fits great into our "Radiant Orchid" theme, and fits great into this season fashion.  This week's color is modeled by my friend Beverley and is a beautiful SpaRitual color described as a "dark purple shimmer", called Days on Wine and Roses. What a lovely title for a polish!  Like most SpaRitual colors, this color is a hit in all departments! I myself even need to get a bottle to keep on hand! If you are interested in grabbing a bottle of SpaRitual's Days of Wine and Roses  polish for you collection, check out your local Ulta store, your local SpaRitual dealer or SpaRitual.com .  Really, really, really like this color? Then check out it's matching lip gloss!! How great is that?! Matching colors for your lips and your nail...
