Kale on your Nail

Image
Kale on your Nail So, as many of you are probably experiencing this season, I am becoming a bit overwhelmed at this new obsession over Kale. Yes, Kale - that bitter leafy green plant that everyone and their mother is turning into chips, adding to their salads, putting in their smoothies, and rubbing on their faces. But now, it's in some nail polish! Well, basecoats to be exact. Nails Inc. London is coming out with another great line of polish called NailKale - maybe its a play on Nail Care? Here's another Nails Inc. Product I am sure my best fran Meg is going to Love! Kale is full of vitamins and good stuff for our bodies, so I can see where the idea would grow to seem like a good idea to put the veggie in a polish. But is it really going to be that effective? In my opinion, probably not...Many people think that your nails need to breathe or they need vitamins and minerals to keep them looking great, when in all actuality, its the cuticles, eponychiums, and matri...

A Sense of Place through Polish

Image
A Sense of Place through Polish I absolutely love this story! (see link below) I personally use nail polish as a way to subtly show people who I am or how I am feeling, so the idea of nail polish representing where I am from would be icing on the cake.  Check out this story about a lady who turned a hobby into a representation of her area where she lives:  Local Woman Creates Buffalo-Themed Nail Polish on WGRZ.com:   http://on.wgrz.com/1j62hRX Check out her polish website:  http://www.gridlocklacquer.com/home.html Let's hear your thoughts on this topic?
