Marsala and Evelyn

Image
Marsala and Evelyn OOPS! I skipped a week! But no worries - here is the color of the week for March 8th-14th. I absolutely LOVE this color! Evelyn is a gorgeous name, as well as a beautiful nail polish color! It is most definitely going down in the books as a new fave for the Marsala theme for the year. Really, I think I just like it next to my skin tone.   The bright pop of color needed two coats of color - but they dried moderately well! I also finished off my nails with the Julep Freedom Polymer top coat - LOVE.  (If you haven't tried it yet, you should!) By adding the Freedom Polymer top coat, I also increased my drying time. Freedom Polymer claims to leave you with dry nails in 5 minutes, and it does its job! I highly recommend this color for Work and for Play! Julep's Evelyn polish looks great with all sorts of outfits. If you want to purchase your own bottle of Evelyn,  check out  Julep.com . You can also purchase select bottles ...

Here are the key items you will need, and why, to do the job right: Nail file - for roughing up the surface of the nail polish Acetone - this breaks down the polish and makes it easy to come off Ten small cotton balls (or five large one pulled in half) - to soak in the acetone A...

The Radiant Anne

Image
The Radiant Anne Hello Everyone! I am so excited to show you guys this week's color! This week's color is a lovely purple color by Julep named Anne.  This color is so fun! I enjoyed wearing it over the weekend and got a bunch of complements. The creme polish color went on like a charm; I almost didn't even need a second coat.  For my top coat, I used one of my favorite products out there right now - the Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat. It goes on like polish, has a gel like finish, and dries completely within five minutes under your regular house lamp. If you like gel polish, but don't like the cost, try this product! It will change your life. For Real.  Want to grab some of these great polish products? Head on over to  Julep.com  and purchase them, or just go on ahead and become a maven! Have you used any fun colors lately? Let me know! I would love to feature them on the blog! Be Radiant! Amanda

Sally Beauty Deal! I am a member of Sally Beauty and I just received this email about a great polish deal! If you are interested, head on over to your local Sally Beauty Store, or even visit them online !! Don't pass this up!! Here's a hint though - If you buy gel polish to do at home, don't forget you need a lamp to cure the polish with! Also, don't forget the base and top coats that go specially with gel colors. As well, gel comes off a special way, so buying the matching brands removal system is always a good idea! Be Radiant! Amanda
