Marsala's Angora Cardi First off, let's just say that I hope Marsala doesn't actually own an angora cardi...that would be sad..unless of course it was this magical bottle of nail polish!! The polish for the week of March 1st-7th is a Marsala spot on color by Essie named Angora Cardi.  This polih is great! Not only does it fit into the Marsala theme like a cat in a box, it also is beautiful and long lasting.  (cat in box) Ironically I had been on the fence for a while over Essie nail polishes. They just seemed to not excite me as much as they used to. So it was refreshing to find an Essie color that got me excited again. In my opinion, Angora Cardi  perfectly matches the color of the year! When applying this lacquer,  only two coats were necessary...and honestly, I think I could have gotten away with just one. As usual, Essie's drying time is just long enough. Jamaica me Crazy Radiant We are almost nearing the endddddddd! Only two more weeks left! But for this week, I picked a fun color that's also a little wild...It is Christmas shopping season...that makes me a little crazy... This Essie color is called Jamaica Me Crazy and it's a super fun color. Its Bright, Shiny, and a little Spunky. I have enjoyed wearing it! The first coat of this color seemed a bit streaky and watery, but after I put the second coat on, the polish evened itself out. Adding the top coat sealed the deal for a great look.  Like all Essie colors, Jamaica Me Crazy had a a moderate drying time. Pretty normal for this brand I'd say. It also had a pretty normal wear time. Bond with Whomever and Chelsea Enchantment Gardens Radiance Hi Everyone!  Here is December 1-5 week's color of the week! WITH A TWIST.  This week's color is an Essie polish called Bond with Whomever  and for the holidays, I hope you and your friends and family have time to bond with one another again.  I love Essie polish and this one was another hit for me. It went on smooth and had great coverage with two coats of color.  It also dried moderately fast, which is always a plus for me! I for one loved this color on and would totally choose it again. HOWEVER...I was in the mood for just a little something extra... So, I grabbed my bottle of Nails Inc. Chelsea Embankment  and added some fun lace-like delicate glitter/embellishment to my nails. Merino Cool Radiance Hello friends! so sorry to be so darn behind in my posts! November has proven to be a very busy month that isnt very welcoming to my blogging needs.  The color of the week for the week of November 2nd - 8th is this amazing smokey purple put out by Essie. In general I love Essie products. They are good basic polish that is long lasting, as well as trendy.  Merino Cool, the color of this smoking shade went on pretty thin and watery for the first coat. I thought for an instant that I might be disappointed, but after the first coat dried and i added a little thicker second coat, the color look great!  As usual this Essie color dried quick and beautifully! Happy Fourth of July Hi Everyone! I hope you all are getting ready to have a great Fourth of July weekend! I know I am! A cookout, visiting with family, and day of rest are what I have in store for myself this weekend.  To get ready for my nice weekend ahead, I painted my nails! (Surprise, surprise!) And here is the simple manicure that I did to help amp up my look for the fourth!  For the blue color Julep's Monaco, which turned out to be a great blue color to represent the blue we see for the fourth! I got my bottle in a Sparklers trio set!  For the red color, I picked out a great Essie color that I have featured on the blog before   called Forever Yummy.
