Fifty-Two Weeks

Joust Exiled Marsala Hi polish lovers! I am slowly but surely catching up to myself! So, without further delay, here is the Marsala inspired color of the week of February 8-14th. This is such a hott color! It was perfect for the week of Valentine's without being your typical red color. Also, kudos to Ulta brand once again! While not be a super 2 week lasting nail polish, this polish still performed. Joust Exiled was great for the Holiday week and was a color that I could wear to work without feeling childish. Its a modern color. Maybe that's why it was exiled ...because it was just to differently awesome. Like previously used Ulta polished, this one went of very smoothly, although it definitely needed two coats of color to look as sharp as it did. Radiant Orchid Rae Hi Everyone! We have almost completed out the year! First off, I hope everyone's Christmas and Holiday's have been great. Also, I hope you are all safe in your travels, wherever they may take you! I thought this Julep polish would be a good color to help us wrap up the year. Rae is Julep's nail polish that celebrates Pantone's color of the year, Radiant Orchid. It does an absolutely perfect job! Rae is the color that is the exact match to Pantone's color swatch. Rae went on smooth and radiant, just like I had hoped! It took a bit of time to dry though...but when it was paired with Julep's amazing Freedom Polymer topcoat it was a manicure from the gods! Pantone's Color of the Year 2015 Revealed! Did you all hear?! Pantone's color of the Year for 2015 has been revealed and I can't wait to start this nail challenge over again!  This upcoming year's color is named Marsala and it is described as "a naturally robust and earthy wine red" and thus, " Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls."   How amazing is this?! This year's color is about the inner self, and the focus on our own personal journey.    (Ya'll see this girls nails, right?!) This color is so pretty and also perfect for work and play! With the right outfits paired with the right Marsala inspired color, you will be able to swiftly make the change between office and date night! Due to it's earthy tones, it also won't be a color that is in your face. Radiant Beverly Thanksgiving Nails I am slowly but surely catching back up to myself and am pleased to show you my nails for this past Thanksgiving week! Described as a "Boysenberry Creme" polish, Beverly is a lovely and sophisticated Julep nail polish. I love this color and it was the perfect purplish color for the Thanksgiving holiday.  I was a little worried when I put the first coat on that the color would be a bit streaky, but I found out very quickly that after I put on the second coat the color leveled itself right out! It's a new favorite of mine for sure!  You could wear a color like this one to almost any function coming up this holiday season (as long as your attire matches of course) because it really is a lovely holiday purple while also being fun, festive and still sophisticated and lady-like. The Radiant Katie Better late than never, right?! Its been a busy week for me, but I am so excited to show you guys this week's color!  Described as an "orchid iridescent chrome" polish, Katie is a great color by Julep that not only looks great, but give your nails a sophisticated shine.  Two of my friends from work used this color after it came in the August Julep box.
