Bond with Whomever and Chelsea Enchantment Gardens Radiance

Image
Bond with Whomever and Chelsea Enchantment Gardens Radiance Hi Everyone!  Here is December 1-5 week's color of the week! WITH A TWIST.  This week's color is an Essie polish called Bond with Whomever  and for the holidays, I hope you and your friends and family have time to bond with one another again.  I love Essie polish and this one was another hit for me. It went on smooth and had great coverage with two coats of color.  It also dried moderately fast, which is always a plus for me! I for one loved this color on and would totally choose it again. HOWEVER...I was in the mood for just a little something extra... So, I grabbed my bottle of Nails Inc. Chelsea Embankment  and added some fun lace-like delicate glitter/embellishment to my nails. As you can see it almost looks a bit like snow! This floral embellishment polish is so fun and gave me the extra pizzazz I was looking for.It also dried quick!  If you w...

A Radiant Bride

Image
A Radiant Bride This week my Best Fran ("Friend" for those of you who aren't her and me) is getting married!! I couldn't be more happy for her. Unfortunately as much as I wish, I can't be there for her special day. But she still totally made me feel like the maid of honor. So, check this out!  I have my very own personalized nail polish! AND it goes along with the color of the year. How lucky am I?!  Meg used a feature by Nails Inc. to specially order a bottle of nail polish that is named after me "Amanda - Maid of Honor". And this polish couldn't be more perfect!  Not only is this polish the perfe ct color, it goes on like butter! So smooth and so slick! The brush is also as soft as a baby's butt and it dried in no time flat! Another win for Nails Inc. But enough about my nails! Check out Meg's nails for her wedding. When you get married and you're thinking about your "something blue" try it out ...

Pinks Are In! Here's a little nail polish trend update for you guys: Pink is in for the Fall and Winter! How exciting is that?! I for one and super excited about this! Usually people tend to lean towards the bronzes, rusts, and warmer colors of fall like orange, red and yellows, but I think its great to have such a lovely fun color thrown into the mix this year! What are your thoughts? Let's check out some great examples of some new pinks for the upcoming chilly autumn and winter seasons: (To go to the websites just click the images) Nails Inc: BUTTER London: I love the description of this polish, Snog : "A bright, hot pink creme. Kale on your Nail

Image
Kale on your Nail So, as many of you are probably experiencing this season, I am becoming a bit overwhelmed at this new obsession over Kale. Yes, Kale - that bitter leafy green plant that everyone and their mother is turning into chips, adding to their salads, putting in their smoothies, and rubbing on their faces. But now, it's in some nail polish! Well, basecoats to be exact. Nails Inc. London is coming out with another great line of polish called NailKale - maybe its a play on Nail Care? Here's another Nails Inc. Product I am sure my best fran Meg is going to Love! Kale is full of vitamins and good stuff for our bodies, so I can see where the idea would grow to seem like a good idea to put the veggie in a polish. But is it really going to be that effective? In my opinion, probably not...Many people think that your nails need to breathe or they need vitamins and minerals to keep them looking great, when in all actuality, its the cuticles, eponychiums, and matri...

Triple Shine Radiance

Image
Triple Shine Radiance Hi Readers! This week's color of the week also features a fun complementary color and an really nice top coat! Let's check it out! My friend Sunshine patiently let me play with and paint her nails the other night during one of our Game of Thrones viewings and I am totally loving what we came up with! On Sunshine's nails we have Sally Hansen's new Triple Shine line of polish in Vanity Flare (purple), Statemint (neon yellow), and Triple Shine Top Coat .  All three of these polish were great to use! The purple only needed one coat of color, but the yellow needed two full coats of color so it did not look streaked. We topped all of the nails off this with smooth top coat. The nails really do have a great shine effect!! For some fun we even added some Nails Inc. Floral line of polish in Chelsea Enchantment Gardens. While it isn't super  visible on the yellow nail, it is very kool looking on the purple nails! All of  thes...

The Radiant Regents Place

Image
The Radiant Regents Place I am so excited about this week's color - not just because of the color - but because of the brand I got to use! Nails Inc. London is a brand that I have seen online for a while but never knew how to get my hands on. So, this past week when I stopped by my local Ulta store, I about went ape sh*t over the new Nails Inc. display they had available! My drive for wanting to try this polish was well worth the purchase! I wasn't let down at all! This polish is as great as I imagined it to be! The color I chose is Nails Inc. London  Regents Place .  This charming purple polish dries so fast! I almost couldn't believe how little time I spent waiting on my nails to dry between coats. It was an amazing first experience with a polish. The first coat of polish on my left hand was almost completely dry by the time I finished all ten of my nails.  I know I will definitely be going back to my local Ulta store to grab the Nails Inc. Gar...
