Sink Your Teeth into this Polish

Image
Sink Your Teeth into this Polish It's almost Halloween and if you are still looking for a fun color to wear tomorrow, try one with a great title! You don't have to have fancy nails with little images painted all over them to have conversation piece nails. Sometimes just a fun color title works! This is my friend Kim's pedi job I did a while back, but the color and the title are perfect for the Halloween holiday. This deep purple will go with most dark costumes like witches, vampires, or zombies. But it could also go with fun lighter costumes like pumpkins, cats, or fairies.  And of course when your friends ask you about your nails, you get to tell them all about its fun title! For example, this polish is an OPI color called Want to Bite My Neck? How perfect is that for Halloween? This is a great dark purple color that dried quick and lasted a long time. Ya gotta love OPI :) You can purchase this color (hopefully) at your local OPI dealer or at your ...

Is Black Back for the Summer?

Image
Is Black Back for the Summer? First off, I love my blog! I was viewing it this morning and my news reel to the side popped up a link that caught my eye (way to go blog!). The link lead me to a  Bustle  article about wearing black nail polish this summer season like Charlize Theron on the cover of Esquire.  While the article itself didn't move me much (*ahem* getting a gel polish manicure will Not kill you with it's UV rays unless you bake in the light for hours upon hours. Just to set that record straight.) the article did make me think about using black in my manicures this summer. I have always like dark polishes mixed with bright poppy colors - so maybe the author had something right - black polish really would look good with your bright floral and summer prints. I'm most definitely going to have to give it a try!  Here are some of the black polishes that the author recommended. For the entire list and details you can visit the article...
