Radiant Beverly Thanksgiving Nails

Image
Radiant Beverly Thanksgiving Nails I am slowly but surely catching back up to myself and am pleased to show you my nails for this past Thanksgiving week! Described as a "Boysenberry Creme" polish, Beverly is a lovely and sophisticated Julep nail polish. I love this color and it was the perfect purplish color for the Thanksgiving holiday.  I was a little worried when I put the first coat on that the color would be a bit streaky, but I found out very quickly that after I put on the second coat the color leveled itself right out! It's a new favorite of mine for sure!  You could wear a color like this one to almost any function coming up this holiday season (as long as your attire matches of course) because it really is a lovely holiday purple while also being fun, festive and still sophisticated and lady-like. This color dried moderately fast - not as fast I would have liked. However, if I has paired this color with Julep's Freedom Polymer Top ...

Radiant Elana

Image
Radiant Elana Wearing this color this week, the week of November 16th-22nd has been super great! Its an amazing color that somehow reminds me of strawberry flavored candies. I have no idea why, This week's color is a Julep color by the title of Elana. Inspired by a certain Honey Boo Boo? Maybe so...This color is fun and cute with a little bit of bling! I love it! Elana went on smooth (as smooth as glitter polish can go on) and the first coat was pretty thin. When I added the second coat, my eyes just lit up! This color was that great! The top coat finished it off and it dried within the hour! Gotta love fast drying polish! This color has been so much fun to wear! I frequent a local preschool to do art, and I got so many compliments on my nails! The kids totally loved this bright pink polish that is embedded with gold glitter. Even the boys thought my nails looked "so cool"! That's the best compliment I could have gotten! This polish is...

Radiant Butterfly Kisses

Image
Radiant Butterfly Kisses I don't know about you, but I love the Butterfly Kisses song just as much as I love the week of November 10th-14th nail polish.  This polish is a delicate pink shimmer polish by Loreal called Butterfly Kisses. I had never used a Loreal polish before this one and I have to say, it wasn't as bad an experience as I thought it would be. I was very pleasantly surprised! This polish was shared with me by a friend from work and it most definitely fits along with the theme of Radiant Orchid. It has that light feel to it that the Pantone color has.  I was at first worried that the color was a bit too watery; the first coat was pretttttty thin going on. But it evened itself out with the second coat and topcoat. After all the worrying, my nails looked great and the color was beautiful.     I must admit, I didnt have this polish on very long - only just a few days. However it did seem to have a little more wear around the e...

Merino Cool Radiance

Image
Merino Cool Radiance Hello friends! so sorry to be so darn behind in my posts! November has proven to be a very busy month that isnt very welcoming to my blogging needs.  The color of the week for the week of November 2nd - 8th is this amazing smokey purple put out by Essie. In general I love Essie products. They are good basic polish that is long lasting, as well as trendy.  Merino Cool, the color of this smoking shade went on pretty thin and watery for the first coat. I thought for an instant that I might be disappointed, but after the first coat dried and i added a little thicker second coat, the color look great!  As usual this Essie color dried quick and beautifully! I was also thoroughly pleased with its wear, it held up pretty good for not being a gel manicure!    If you are interested in getting a bottle of this Essie polish Merino Cool , check out your local Ulta store, drugstores, or super centers. And while you are at it - g...

Sink Your Teeth into this Polish

Image
Sink Your Teeth into this Polish It's almost Halloween and if you are still looking for a fun color to wear tomorrow, try one with a great title! You don't have to have fancy nails with little images painted all over them to have conversation piece nails. Sometimes just a fun color title works! This is my friend Kim's pedi job I did a while back, but the color and the title are perfect for the Halloween holiday. This deep purple will go with most dark costumes like witches, vampires, or zombies. But it could also go with fun lighter costumes like pumpkins, cats, or fairies.  And of course when your friends ask you about your nails, you get to tell them all about its fun title! For example, this polish is an OPI color called Want to Bite My Neck? How perfect is that for Halloween? This is a great dark purple color that dried quick and lasted a long time. Ya gotta love OPI :) You can purchase this color (hopefully) at your local OPI dealer or at your ...
