Pantone's Color of the Year 2015 Revealed!

Pantone's Color of the Year 2015 Revealed!

Did you all hear?! Pantone's color of the Year for 2015 has been revealed and I can't wait to start this nail challenge over again!

This upcoming year's color is named Marsala and it is described as "a naturally robust and earthy wine red" and thus, "Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls."   How amazing is this?! This year's color is about the inner self, and the focus on our own personal journey.

(Ya'll see this girls nails, right?!)

This color is so pretty and also perfect for work and play! With the right outfits paired with the right Marsala inspired color, you will be able to swiftly make the change between office and date night! Due to it's earthy tones, it also won't be a color that is in your face. It won't take away from you.

I personally love what Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman had to say about the 2015 shade, "Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us into its embracing warmth." I totally agree! This color is warm, mysterious, and sweet. I can't wait to wear polish that embodies these characteristics!

What was I saying about this color's earthy tones?! Oh yea - that they are pretty much the best thing about this color! Here is what Pantone had to say, "Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling  meal  while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness." LOVE! I think I am just as excited about this year's color as i was last year!

And of course, this color isn't just going to look good on your nails, it'll also look good as clothing and as decoration in your home. Here is what Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman had to say about Marsala in your space, "Nurturing and fulfilling, Marsala is a natural fit for the kitchen and dining room - making it ideal for tabletop, small appliances and lines throughout the home." What a great recipe for success! A wonderful color that can be combined almost anywhere.

As a final note, once again Leatrice Eiseman says it all, "This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily into fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors." I couldn't agree more. Not only am I looking forward to showcasing this color on my nails each week, I am looking forward to seeing how others are encompassing this color into their own lives this coming year.
