Polish Pods? So, Sephora has come out with this really neat new way to apply polish on the go - but is it really worth the money? How fast does this polish dry? Is it really as easy as they say it is to put on? After watching  this video by Refinery29  about Sephora's Formula X Press Pods, I am definitely intrigued and want to try out one of these polish pods! Triple Shine Radiance Hi Readers! This week's color of the week also features a fun complementary color and an really nice top coat! Let's check it out! My friend Sunshine patiently let me play with and paint her nails the other night during one of our Game of Thrones viewings and I am totally loving what we came up with! On Sunshine's nails we have Sally Hansen's new Triple Shine line of polish in Vanity Flare (purple), Statemint (neon yellow), and Triple Shine Top Coat .  All three of these polish were great to use! The purple only needed one coat of color, but the yellow needed two full coats of color so it did not look streaked. We topped all of the nails off this with smooth top coat. The nails really do have a great shine effect!! For some fun we even added some Nails Inc. Floral line of polish in Chelsea Enchantment Gardens. It's not all about the neon this summer! Summer nail polish can almost almost be picked out by it "bright, neon, in-your-face hues". And while this is so very true, I have found myself this summer (when I am not painting my nails purple) going for more laid back colors or a nice subtle glitter polish instead.  After reading a Refinery29 article about Summer Color Trends  in make-up, I felt a little happier about nail color choices and a little less anti-summer neon color. Grace's Bright Side My good friend Grace painted her nails the other day with this fun set of colors and you all totally need to see them!  Here is a close up of  Avery  and  Georgia  which are the two colors Grace used. The Radiant Ariana Hello Friends! This week's color of the week is another Julep Color that I am super excited to share with you! My friend Grace painted her nails using  Julep.com's   Ariana.  Ariana has a lovely description of being an "Enchanted berry iridescent chrome" nail polish. It's great purple color goes great with this year's theme of the Radiant Orchid!  I personally think my favorite part about this polish is its magnificent glittering shine! However, when asked what she thought about the polish, this is what Grace had to say, "the polish dried fast! It also went on easy. A Radiant Duo Hello Readers, I am happy to share with you this week's color...or shall I say colorS...of the week with you!  Lately I have found myself in a very gold polish mood. So, I decided to jazz up my weekly Radiant Orchid inspired manicure with some gold glittery polish. Here's what I did to fancy up my polish look: Helen First, I used a base coat and then followed up with One coat of Julep's Helen. Helen is described as being a smokey pastel lavender creme polish. It is an absolutely lovely color on its own, but it was also a marvelous backdrop for my glittering gold.  Andrea on top of Helen The next thing I did after I let Helen dry a bit, was add Once coat of Julep's Andrea. Andrea is described as being a brilliant full coverage bronze glitter polish - but I personally think it looks like gold. Since it's a full coverage glitter, I only had to use one full coat of the color. However, I did go back and add a little extra to places

My Radiant Best Friend Meg! My Best Friend just got engaged last night!!! WOOP WOOP! I am beyond excited for her and her fiance on their new endeavor! I know I'm doing my happy dance!!! As soon as I got the news about her engagement, I reminded her that she should have her nails done since everyone and their mother is going to be looking at her beautiful black diamond ring and she replied with a picture of her already painted beautiful teal nails!! Glam Roc Radiance Hi Everyone! Im keeping it short and sweet this week - it's only Tuesday, but its been a long week for me already! This weeks color of the week is an intense dark, almost black, purple Stardust Finish by Julep named Glam Roc.  Glam Roc is a great polish that went on easy and dried really fast. However, I really don't think I was very prepared for how dark this purple would really look on my nails. A lot of my friends thought I had on black sparkly polish.
