 Hello Everyone!! The week's post is exciting for me!! I had the wonderful opportunity to do another one of my good friends nails. As a nail tech it is important to have a variety of services that you can provide your clients. For my friend Hannah I had the opportunity to give her my special Milk and Honey Manicure. 

This mani is great because it consists of a special Milk and Honey soak, warm towels, Milk and Honey cuticle oil treatment, a massage with a Milk and Honey butter lotion, and of course the amazing nail color of your choice. 

Hannah picked a great color, too! She picked this week's color which is Demi by Zoya. 
Demi by Zoya is a great purple, cream finish polish that is bold yet also beautiful. When applying this polish I used the whole Zoya nail system - Remove, nail polish remover; Anchor, as the base coat; Armor, as the top coat; and The Fast Dry Drops for a quicker dry.  This color most definitely needed two coats of color, but I am so thrilled with how it looked especially after putting on the top coat. Hannah was happy too, which makes the experience even better!

      It's Amazing! It is the Milk and Honey product line by Cuccio; you should totally check them out. Or just come get a mani?! ;D But for real, the scent is relaxing and warming, like vanilla or sugar scents, but it moisturizes like no other!

The Radiant Phia Hi Everyone! Julep has done it for me again. This week's color is a great shimmering purple! Phia is described as an "alluring orchid iridescent chrome" (there's that orchid theme again, yay!) is an amazing polish.  Because of the chrome-like effect of this polish, it makes it last even longer. Keep That Callus First off, a callus is a thickened and hardened part of the skin or soft tissue, esp. in an area that has been subjected to friction. In regards to nail technology, most calluses that are seen in the salon are found on the bottoms of the heels, and sides of the feet and toes. Many common calluses are also found on pressure points on the bottoms of the feet. I always get  them on the backs and edges of my heels.  Sometimes, we notice that calluses cause us agitation or pain, and thus we wish to reduce them.  Have you ever gone into a discount nail salon and seen one of these tools used on your feet? At some nail salons, your pedicurist might offer to shave your calluses with a credo blade (that handheld device that looks like a cross between a razor and a vegetable peeler seen above).
